  • All Plenary Sessions and Technical Sessions (Oral and Poster)

    • Morning and afternoon breaks are held in Green Commons, Lunches will be at the Mines Market - your badge will be your lunch ticket there.
    • Dinners will be on your own.
  • Congress Booklet and Digital Abstracts
  • Drawing for new Brunton Transits (SEPM 100th Anniversary Engraved AXIS Transit; SEPM 100th Anniversary Engraved Gold Standard Transit)

  1. Before April 1st - full refund
  2. April 1- May 1:  half refund
  3. After May 15: no refund is available.

How to get from the Denver Airport to Colorado School of Mines (Golden Area).

If you aren't driving or taking an Uber, or specific shuttle bus, etc. you can use trains to travel from Denver Airport to CSM/Golden, CO.  The nearest transit station is Jeffco Station, you can take the following train services to get there and then take the CSM Ore Cart Shuttle the total cost is less than $20:

  • Take the A Line Commuter Train: This train runs between Denver International Airport and Union Station. It takes approximately 37 minutes to reach downtown Denver and is a convenient option for travelers. 
  • Then take the Union Station Light Rail Plaza: After taking the A Line, you will transfer at Union Station Light Rail Plaza to reach Jeffco Government Center Station. The total journey takes about 1 hour and 32 minutes.
  • The take the Ore Cart Shuttle from JeffcoStation to CSM - Home - Ore Cart Shuttle Service - take the Tungsten Route (from JeffcoStation)  - check the current schedule - https://orecart.mines.edu/tungsten-route-schedules/
  • Or take an Uber, etc. from JeffCoStation you are about 15 minutes from CSM.

Lodging Information


CSM Dorm Room Reservations - Housing Registration - Conference and Registration Information

Important notes about an on-campus housing reservation:

All rooms are single occupancy with a shared bath with another single and is $82.50 USD per night plus a one-time $35 registration and linen fee.

You can request a specific roommate to share the bathroom when you make your reservation.

    Housing reservations include breakfast each day at the campus dining hall (Market)

    Booking requires a 2-night minimum stay

    Check-in desk is open from 4pm to 10pm Mountain Time. Please make sure your arrival time coincides with these hours.

    Check-out must be done by 10am Mountain Time.

    You will share a private lockable bathroom with another participant, if you would like to request a particular suitemate please do so in the additional requests field.

    Campus housing must be reserved by May 31, 2026.

    Residence Hall rooms are for adults only – NO CHILDREN under 18 are allowed. For extenuating circumstances please contact conferences@mines.edu

Dorm Room Cancellation and Attendee Substitution Policy for SEPM 2026

Any modification, including cancellation, of your housing registration requires written notice that must be emailed (Conferences@mines.edu ) to the Conference and Event Service (CES) office.

The following information applies to all registrations:

    Attendee substitutions may be made without cost penalty at any time up to two weeks prior to the start of the event.

    No refunds will be made to registrants who fail to cancel within the specified cancellation period.

Additional Campus Housing policy

    Cancellations accepted until two weeks prior to event start date (May 31, 2026).

    Cancellation fee: 20% of total accommodation fee.

    No refunds for cancellations after May 31, 2026.


Other Lodging Options

Golden, CO has many hotels as well as potential house and apartment rentals.  It is June and the rates can be high but check out an extended area using local transportation (.Rail | RTD-Denver )
