SEPM & GSA Sedimentary Geology Division Student-Led Monthly Journal Club

The SEPM and The Geological Society of America Sedimentary Geology Division have just launched a student-led monthly journal club- the second meeting will be held April 6 at 10:30 PST/1:30 EST! The purpose of this club is to support an online meeting space for early career sedimentary geologists to discuss recent research published in the field of sedimentary geology. The “club” is open to everyone! You don’t have to be an official member of either group to participate, and its led by student representatives of SEPM and the GSA Sedimentary Geology Division.


How to join the club: Complete this form with your information to register for the web meeting - the login information will be sent to the email address you provide. Read the article selected for the journal club meeting - this is listed at the bottom of the registration form. Think about your answers to the discussion questions. Then join the online meeting to share your thoughts, hear other people’s ideas and brainstorm new ideas together to advance our science!
