We would like to call to your attention the new location of the FROMAGE Web Homepage. It is now located at http://www.fromage.ethz.ch and is GRATEFULLY maintained by our new webmaster Federica Tamburini at federica.tamburini@erdw.ethz.ch.

We would also like to express our great appreciation to the dedicated efforts of Dr. Karl Follmi, who has now stepped down as co-chair of our research group. He is being replaced by our new co-chair Dr. John Compton at the University of Capetown. Welcome aboard John!

News on SEPM Special Publication No. 66: "Marine Authigenesis: From Global to Microbial." As of last January 380 copies had been sold. The abstracts of each chapter in this volume can now be accessed via the internet at the FROMAGE Homepage listed above.
