Remembering Bill Normark, 40 Years of Innovation on Submarine Fans

We are pleased to announce this year's SEPM Deepwater Research Group Meeting. Each year the SEPM holds a Deepwater Research Group Meeting in association with the AAPG Annual Convention. The meeting will be held Monday evening from 7pm - 10pm in the Grand Hyatt Hotel, San Antonio, Texas. There will be signs in the lobby specifying the room.
This year's meeting is a special tribute to the late William R. Normark. In the words of his dear friend David Scholl, "Early in the evening of Saturday, January 12, Bill Normark, at home with his wife, went quietly to map the big fan in the sky. the pearly offshore will new be meticulously observed, recorded and, at last, understood. Yes, he took an AUV with him."
